This test may yield misleading results if the patient has been recently transfused. The test should be performed at least four months after the last transfusion.

LAB NOTES:ÌýForward sample to Haematology workstation first for processing and downloading of red cell indices.

RWH:ÌýForward sample to the RCH Haematology within 24 hours of collection.
