Whole Blood - EDTA

COLLECTION NOTES

Specimen should be received in Laboratory within 2 hours of collection.

LAB NOTES:

Forward sample to Haematology first.

Following analysis on Haematology analyser, aliquot at least 150uL well mixed whole blood and freeze at -70°C (The assay requires 100uL sample) Sample MUST be frozen within 3 hours of collection.

NOTE ADD-ONS: If sample is greater than 3 hours old, do NOT add-on test.
