Do not use gel tubes

Collection Notes: Sample is dispatched Mondays 2:00pm.  Samples received at Specimen Reception after 2pm will be held and dispatched the following Monday.

Specimen must be collected pre-dose. Do NOT use gel tubes for this analysis.

Lab Notes: This test will only be performed following authorisation by a Chemical Pathologist
Centrifuge, aliquot and store at 4C. Transport specimen at ambient temperature.

Monday-Friday.  Turn-around time for results is 1-2 week from receipt at testing lab.
