Lithium heparin

Medical Staff:  These tests are chemotaxis, adhesion and/or Staphylococcal killing. Please pre-arrange with the Immunopathology Registrar and/or Consultant at least 24 hours before blood collection.

Collection Staff: Sample to be collected on a Tuesday morning, to arrive in Specimen Reception by 1130.

Specimen Reception Staff: Do not spin. Keep at room temperature. Send patient sample (one tube of 7ml blood) AND control sample (one tube of 7ml blood) by overnight courier.
