LAB NOTES:

If received before 11.00hrs Mon-Fri (excluding public holidays):

-Prepare routine send away for pick up by routine scheduled Monash Pathology courier.

If received after 11.00hrs Mon- Fri,  on weekends or public holidays:

-Contact requesting Doctor

-Determine if can wait until next weekday 11.00hrs scheduled courier or if it must sent urgently.

-If required to be sent urgently, organise  external courier for transport to testing laboratory.

-If NOT required urgently, store at 2-8°C

Test performed daily.
