Total Serum Inhibin is no longer performed

Suggest either:

Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) -  ovarian reserve evaluation

Inhibin B  - Granulosa cell ovarian tumour marker

LAB NOTES:

If request for Inhibin Total is received: Contact doctor and suggest either Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) if ovarian reserve evaluation is required OR Inhibin B if a marker for granulosa cell ovarian tumour is required. Ask the doctor to forward a new request form stating the laboratory number of the specimen already received by the laboratory.
