Whole Blood - Serum-Gel.

DEDICATED specimen °ù±ð±ç³Ü¾±°ù±ð»å.ÌýSend to laboratory immediately. Must be centrifuged within 6 hours of collection.

LAB NOTES:

Send via Microbial Serology

Centrifuge Serum- Gel specimen within 6 hours of collection. Dedicated unbreached specimen required. Do NOT share.

Forward the centrifuged specimen to Microbial Serology who will aliquot, (in the event dedicated specimen could not be taken) and organise send away.

Transport to external pathology provider at 2-8°C within 72 hours.

If the sample cannot be sent within 72 hours, (e.g. a long weekend), freeze the centrifuged primary serum-gel tube in the -70°C SR freezer (no need to aliquot the serum, only separate by centrifugation).

Three times a week
