Body fluid (other than Blood or CSF) in sterile container

Types of requested tests include: Haemoglobin, White Cell Count, Lymphocyte Count, Morphology, etc.

Sample must arrive in  lab within 1hr of collection, sample is stable for only 2 hours at room temperature

LAB NOTES: If the sample requires microscopy & culture or viral culture in addition to the biochemical analysis; forward the sample to Bacteriology first for ²¹²õ±ð±è³Ù¾±³¦Ìýaliquoting and redistribution.

If fluid is received in an EDTA tube, forward the EDTA tube to Bacteriology for the cell count.
