Send sample to the laboratory immediately.

This test is NOT the same as Complement Factor H

LAB NOTES:

Do NOT confuse with Complement Factor H (SACOMP1).   

Spin, separate and freeze at -80°C as soon as possible.  

Externally referred specimens should arrive FROZEN. Refer to Immunology staff if not received frozen.  

As this is a non-Medicare rebateable test, non-RCH patients incur a fee (please refer to Pathology Accounts for details)
