Harmful sexual behaviour counselling and support

  • SASH clinicians provide specialist therapeutic counselling and support to children aged up to 17 years who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviour, and their family members. These services provide a safe and non-judgmental space for children and young people and their family members to understand and process the behaviour, to manage difficult and often confusing feelings and to support families to help children learn about and understand how to participate in safe, respectful, and consensual relationships and behaviours.

SASH does not investigate whether sexually harmful behaviour has or hasn't occurred.Ìý

SASH is a voluntary service and can receive referrals from parents or other legal guardians (including child protection) or young people if they can provide their own consent.Ìý
